Gutted, so wanted the arrogant Indians to get knocked out of their own tournament.

3 balls left and it was theirs to lose!
India had nothing to do with that win in the end. That's just crazy thought process of finishing it in a single ball and paying the price for it!
If Bangladesh had of simply taken a single into a gap then even with a single needed off the last 2 balls.
Was good viewing though - nice close game  :D

Ha no, I don't think anyone would call him exciting! True, that many tests is a hell of a good stint for someone who bowls pace, but if he'd been a better bowler and so bowled more overs I don't think he'd have played nearly as many. Not sure what the most tests played by a front line seamer is but there aren't many who've played over a hundred and it's probably even lower for allrounders. Legend of the game for sure, but the great allrounder group will always be a tiny one. Stokes at present is the only player in the world who's even close, if he gets the consistency he'll go down as at least an English great I think.

Excellent. India are losing. Hopefully if they go out then we'll hear a lot less rubbish talked about how wonderful the IPL is!
There was nothing wrong with Kallis' bowling, South Africa's attack simply got better to the point where Kallis' bowling went from necessary to luxury. Steyn, Philander and Morkel destroyed opponents for fun, why would Kallis need to bowl?

Mate no disrespect but wickets tend to win games and wickets early I have quite a bit of experience at a decent level at it cheers.

I have played quite a bit of white ball cricket cheers

No point taking 5 wickets at a RPO of 20.  I left wickets out because so,done playing 20 games will have more wickets than so,done playingn2 so RPO and maybe Sr are he only way to assess against each other

Sigh, mthe 'I've played higher than you so are better than you so know more' method ....
Cheers

Partly because he was bloody boring, yep. Batting I think he's well recognised, but he really didn't bowl that much and would never have got picked as a bowler alone. 290 wickets yes, but in almost 170 tests and only 5 fivefers. Imagine how many someone like Botham would have taken if he'd played that many!

Boring ?? He wasn't Boring at all. The guy was told to play a certain way for the team and was bloody good. He could score as fast as most when he wanted too (one of his last 100's was 'fast' for example).. Ok, he wasn't a hitter but hitters aren't greater batsmen generally.. Otherwise buttler would be legendary !!

That's what about 10 people said at work immediately!! 'Something fishy about it as that looked intentional'

I didn't see the game so can't say personally until I watch it later after more nets.

Shut up you mug. you been looking for a argument all day.

i would rather have 5 wickets early on like so the 20 runs a over.

Stokes has taken 5 wickets in 12 games hardly creates pressure like...

Runs will flow in T20 cricket best way to stop them is take wickets and earlier the better...

And no we are all not driven by our own importance or average pal unlike some!!!

Haha, last time I checked I didn't give a crap about lvl etc. Played enough high up in other sports to know crap players can be carried and good players can play 'low' etc.  Seen enough in cricket to know there are plenty being carried and some talent low down who just enjoy the game.

Hence unless someone is pro it's a pinch of salt level wise.still, if you want to be smarter/better be my guest. Im not that fussed as it won't affect me one bit.

Are we suggesting with 3 balls left the 12th man ran out and said "wire transfered throw the game"

Or are we suggesting it was rigged from he begining and both sides are that good at cricket they can get it so close without trying??

What if dhawan had dropped either cAtch? Batsmen had crossed so a draw, would the wire transfer be sent back??

Yes fixing is in this sport, but it's only gonna go downhill if players are accused everytime it doesn't go  perfectly!

was tongue in cheek mate

Not just you saying it though, Twitter is alive with it, you just gave me a post to quote for a little rant on here.

Was same with Pakistanis loss, first time amir went for a few runs and thousands of Twitter user proclaiming he'd thrown the game. It gets ridicolous after abit.

Easy to bowl a no ball, only you involved. Throwing a game, you need the batsmen to put it away, and like Bangladesh today, I bad ball doesn't always go for six. Sometimes it goes to hand.
