Sammy and Marlon Samuels post match interviews were amusing too.. Sounds like mr stokes needs to button it in the middle. Still, it was entertaining so for 2020 that's good.

what an excellent game of cricket, it had everything. Braithwaite what a player. Makes his own bats I wonder how many international players can say that. You got a feel for Stokes, always felt he was a little arrogant for my liking but an excellent player none the less. It is a shame Braithwaite did not become a part of the forum, would have been a great addition. He handled the pressure like a true legend. Talking of Legends batcrazy was banned from the forum for taking the side of a customer. I believe a few of the admin team didn't take a liking to this and decided to ban him. Seems a shame that certain people can say what ever they like no matter how offensive it maybe, but when some one has a valid point they find themselves getting banned.

Still remarkable how the Windies really are everybody's second team. They got a great reception even after beating India in the semis. And I don't think any other team (other than India of course) would be welcomed like this after winning it all:

Had Braithwaite stuck around this forum, he no doubt would've been to-ing and fro-ing between all his bats and wouldn't have performed anywhere near that calibre of innings.

You've got to feel for Stokes - any bowler at that level will be thinking 'I'm backing against him hitting four consecutive sixes off me'. In fact, after the first one you'd be thinking he's more likely to screw one up now, then we've got a wicket and a dot ball.

Always found most Indians had the Windies as their second side as there have been plenty of players with East Indians roots playing for the Windies. For example Chanderpaul, Sarwan, Ramdin, Ganga, Narine, Rampaul etc

that is not really the reason. its because of the way the Windies play the game (and celebrate). They've always won people over. Most people from the Sub Continent will list Viv Richards, Sobers, Marshall, Ambrose, Lara, Gayle etc as their favorite players.... East Indian decent players don't really feature in that favorites list.
