Oh I get it, haha, no worries. And to think I took up cricket to get away from the horrors of ankle rolling and broken fingers at football.

Well batted mate!
Must have felt good when you got there

Which side did you play for?
Did you win most importantly? Sweet feeling to get a hundred in a winning cause knowing your runs won the game!
@Batbuddy99
Well....started in 2's opening bowler...(I know I can bet but normally go in with 8overs left for a 'get as many runs as you can' or ' block for the draw). Played last 3 games in the 1's. Have torn my obliques for the second time this year now... So got to open the batting against. ' not the mcc cc ' could have been caught by the keeper. But he was standing up. And probably run our 3 times with a direct hit!

I'm totally overweight peaking around 19.5 stone this year...hopefully down to 15.5 by start of next year.

But I have enjoyed 'most' of my cricket and think it is good to have 1's and 2's Soo closer next year and it should be a minor difference switching between teams!

I didn't want to over celebrate, just a raised bat to my team. Very happy I have got my 1'sr (of many) to prove to myself I have the ability and patience to bat. 125 in 120 balls(thanks @Jaffa for the kraken!. I'm a very happy boy (who can't walk atm).

Oppo opener had a lovely warbird 2.11 G1 and pro pads and gloves, apparently had a little discount....hello! See you in 3 weeks!

Good weekend.  Won Saturday after being under pressure at 34-3, @19reading87 and huss put 150 for the 4th wicket and got us to 202-6. Redders got 50 odd and protected his red inker by running me out off the last ball of the innings not taking a single to the keeper  ;). When they were 146-2 with 10 overs to go I thought we were heading for defeat but we broke a partnership and then they collapsed to 180 ao.  I helped myself to 5-37 just by bowling straight and hitting the stumps.  Big win as we are now 2nd with two games to go!

Sunday the oppo got 176 ao and we were 61-3 when rain came. It was a massive dustbowl and I found plenty of help to collect 4-11 off my 8.

Settle for weekend figures of 17.3-4-48-9  :D

This was also my Saturday promotion now in our hands with two games left, have to say nick bowled a great spell in the circumstances

Sunday was less good but still enjoyable, played for a mates Sunday side and we bowled the oppo out for 125 on a shocking wicket, one ball flew the. Next on the same spot rolled! So safe to say when myself and the other opener were out in the first two overs and we were reduced to 0-3 3-4 and 27-7 we were looking at humiliation, then our 8 and 9 hit 41* and 40* no get us within 12 of wining with 20 overs left!! Then the rain came!!
Shocking wicket and I got bowled 2nd ball after having one Jump at me then one roll next up! Heyho these hints happen just annoying as I've felt in good form in the nets!

Last match of the season but Can't play tomorrow  due to ongoing ear problem tried running yesterday but it felt as if I was going to fall over. Doubt if the club will get 11 players on the potch only had 9 last week and only had 11 once this season but shall still  finish 4th in the division with 10 wins  Taking into consideration cancelled matches due to having less than 8 players and matches lost by less than 20 runs or 1 wicket with 11 players the club would have won its division.
Ah well there's always next season...

I know Dorchester are at home. We (Martinstown) are away at Wimborne but our 2nds are at home and it's one of the nicest grounds in the region

Myself and Liam SCCC from here play for Cattistock and are at home tomorrow...
Just say 15 mins from Dorchester near Maiden Newton, a lovely little village ground with a beautiful  setting

Played against Copford today, lovely ground although it does have a huge 100ft plus oak tree in the middle and was about 15yrds from the batsmen at one end. Local rules state you could be caught off the tree or run out which was unusual. Tbh though it's hardly made much of an impact being hit about 5 times during the game and caused no issues.
The track was a belts rock hard and flat, we batted first and set a massive 326-3 off 39. I scored 119 which is my 2nd league Ton of the season used my New Balance and it's lovely hit my first 6 of the season straight which was also nice, put on a club record 216 stand for the first wicket which was good to be involved in for my first full season at this club played 7 league games this season on Sat scoring 374runs with 2 Tons so a much better effort than last season

In reply that plodded along to 147-5 just shut up shop which personally I don't get as there is no losing draws etc in our league. We finished as champs with 1 game to go so hopefully more competitive cricket next season.

One game left for me next weekend on Sunday before my season is done
