Yet what defines an adidas boot? You could have the exact same product one made in adidas factory and one hand sewn by Christian Louboutin with an adidas logo added, what defines it as an adidas product other than the logo? At the end of the day kids want to look like their idols they aren't going to care if their Adidas stickered bat is made by SS on a machine or handmade by Hawk. This forum accounts for a niche in the market where people have a extended interest in more than just the stickers the majority of the target market wouldn't even give it a thought.

There should be greater accountability. We have the right to know where stuff we buy is made. And if the stars are pretending to be using something similar, when really they are not, then we have the right to know that too.
