Hi guys,

Apologies if another topic of this is kicking about but I can't find any.

Was wondering where I could get a good cheap helmet for and what type of price they go for?

I had a Masuri one but that was a gift but the strap on it has broke so I am looking for a replacement.

Any ideas?

Kookaburra for £31.99 looks good and he seems very happy with it

Yeah I had a look at Ayrtek just there, they look good a bit pricey obviously that's due to the quality.

Oh yeah, can't believe I didn't even check sportsdirect!

The GM zona lid is also worth considering, it is available around £40 in quite a few places, it is a chunk lighter than the masuri, I think.

Tried a few on recently more out of curiosity about new lids than anything else, Shrey Armour is probably where I'd go on a budget. Gf has one and it's better than I expected, about £50 if I remember right. Quite a similar feel to old style Masuris.

Ive currently got a GN atomic on ebay which im happy to go reasonably cheap, brand new with tags.

I don't like wearing a helmet, I feel it impairs my vision, I haven't batted with one since the strap broke until yesterday when I used one. I couldn't read the ball at all and it seemed as if it was coming at me quicker.

It's also a nuisance when I run, even with the strap tightly on, it feels as if it just wobbles.

Anyone else feel the same?

@Slyboogy well let me know and I'll get one sorted for u, we use a 4 point chin strap that helps to reduce wobble.
