Well done, no way that the bat is unused as the description though! Lovely shape, should go well. I had a Harlequin which wasn't a very big bat that played very well, it was on eBay not long ago but for ,ore than I sold it for or I would have bought it back

I played with a CK11 copy by Laver. Very concaved but it hit the ball an absolute mile, even when not hit in the middle.

I saw this one - it is 2-9, so I let it go. Congrats!! These are great bats!

Yeah 2 9 but I've seen these bats in store before and 2 9 has a much lighter pickup so lets see.

£550.00 for a cricket bat?

No offense intended but seriously, in general public if someone is ready to spend this much on a cricket bat then I assume he is currently not in good batting form.
He wants to make runs and play long innings but can't figure out exactly why his strokes are either not timed or the ball does not meet the middle. So the wallet takes the toll and the player wants to explore this venue in an effort to get back in form.

Obviously it's a free world and everyone is at liberty to whatever he/she wants to buy - so I am not stopping or discouraging the OP from buy this bat; however, I feel that the bat makers have sky rocketed the prices tremendously in recent years.

MH had a 30% off offer a couple of Fridays ago. It was for the MH16 which i think is pretty well the same bat.

Got a  MH 16 and it is an absolute gun. Huge but picks up sweet. Yes the con caving is daft but doesn't effect the bats performance

Its rare that bats that pro use are in line with the stickers on them, even if made by the same company (rare) they are usually what the pro prefers rather than the marketed shape.

I thought Nick had helped in the design?

I think he said on an interview that he likes fuller profile.
As for "his range" I don't think any of his bats in the South Africa series looked like they had 50mm edges.

If you purchase an M&H NC654 you're buying a bat with the same stickers as Nick Compton, but they certainly aren't the same shape!

Popped into talent cricket today and they had a few of these in - knew they were concaved but wow! Presume the profiles been designed based on the alps.
