Is chris woakes playing himself into this side for a decent run.
Wonder if its possible we play one less batsman and woakes and stokes together?

would drop compton for stokes.

Alastair Cook copped a blow to knee off the blade of Perera. Looked to be in a bit of trouble.

Why would a side handicap itself but playing so many bits and pieces all rounders?

You need proper batsmen and proper bowlers. Not a collection of neither here nor there.

Both could get into the side as batsmen and both are more than but part bowlers... Its the rest of the order Round them that could be an issue

Time for Compton to shine with his stand-still tech.

Chance for Vince to prove his quality.

Compton was far from the ball when he defended the ball.

Might just be his action, but it looks like Eranga is chucking?
