Wow - how do they justify the price?
The brand has been dormant for so long (or making umpires/schools kit) and then kappow three times the price you might expect

My view is that they need more money - and its handled in the wrong way of increasing prices.

It needs a Re-Brand and major overhaul.

In order to re-establish itself it will need to have pricing come in around about market average, maybe even slightly under as most younger players these days won't remember their prominence back in the day.  Hope they get back to where they should be.

Watch out for heavy discounts to that market average, making them look great value.

Going back a looong time
I’d had two fantastic fearnley bats and needed another due to mine snapping in half,(I wouldn’t even consider another bat)
Walked into one of many sports shops that used to be in Burnley, and asked if they had any DF bats,,the lovely chap politely told me ‘nah, we don’t sell them here, maybe try the chip shop next door, but we have a nice selection of gray Nicolls that you are welcome to look through)

Mine too Dave. They were certainly the brand to have in the 80’s. Being in Somerset with Botham using them and then when Viv started using them as well it was amazing. Had many a magnum myself and the Chris broad magnum pads. Loved it. Thought I was Alan Border 😀

I had the leather buckskin first and then when the magnum pads came out had to have them. Think I had matching magnum gloves as well. Before that it was the double finger protection ones with the big green finger protection

Have been waiting for the Heritage softs to arrive on the site, plus the duffle and just seen the prices !!!

They are clowns, gear seems half decent now and what an opportunity to re-establish the brand, but no,lets pretend we`re Gray Nicolls and are Premier brand all over again

Opportunity wasted

The padding on the inside of the pads looks very basic and the velcro strap on the gloves looks interesting, I wonder if that's a mistake or whether they did any research in to the placement of the velcro tab.
