Keeping Pads
« on: June 22, 2016, 07:13:26 AM »

Ok So i need some new keeping pads as i have snapped the straps on mine.

The problem i have is my legs are massive and the strap are never long enough so only a few pads i have tried have fitted me.

The 1's that i have just broken are newbery SPS

the top strap is 40cm and fitted me just .

If anybody can measure there top strap in length and let me know how long it is i might be able to actually purchase some that fit me!

Thanks Simmy

Straps on my Red Ink pads always seem very long to me, measured the top strap at about 38/39cm to the end of the velcro though so might not be much use.

Salix Pod One are the longest pads we have currently, 39.5cm is the length of strap with velcro on it, there is another 3cm of 'tab' at the end of the strap.

From having a look I can only find about 1-2cm difference in most makes. However sometimes that extra cm makes all the difference  ;)

How about a pair of strettons? I'm sure George could makes the straps to whatever size you need them. Only thing is whether you mind wearing them under your trousers or not.

Puma flextechs straps are 33cm, but the pads wrap around, and fit my 41cm calfs fine

I have a pair of M&H CK22 WK Pads and the straps on those are absolutely enormous. They're top of the range pads too so its worth considering them
