GN 2017
« on: July 01, 2016, 01:19:44 PM »

New GN 2017 range should be announced within next couple of weeks.

Predator 3 and Velocity XP1 are the new models. Sabre is the heritage model returning.

I don't have that info but by naming convention I'd expect the Velocity to replace the Omega, perhaps.

Do you sell a lot of Gray's stuff @Vitas Cricket ? Never see it in the league.

Supernova and Powerbow will definitely be in the range next year. I think we will see some individual player edition bats as well as some more duffle bags... and hopefully the Legends won't go up in price anymore.

Yes but its hard to keep track of who buys what. You will be surprised at the number of first team players in our league who think they have a divine right to a sponsorship/discount, so the inevitable local Kookaburra connection comes in, as do all the little bedroom brands dotted about.

Don't get me started on people thinking they deserve sponsorship, it's a love of mine people bringing in something they got in some sponsorship deal 99% of the time it's tripe.

Did you say Sabre? Any chance of a long blade (drools).

Quite excited about the Sabre. Favourite bat I've ever owned. Been searching for a good condition retro one for years though. Mine split beyond repair.

For the Aussie forum members, I was at GCCC the other day as their GN bat delivery arrived for the coming season. There is some stunning gear.

Is the Sabre the one with two little scoops down the bottom?

always wanted one of those Aussie GN`s that looked a little like the Players edition that Cook and Bairstow are using now,but had a Logo that resembled 2 Cutlasses crossed..the Aussie Sabre, perhaps ??  Lehmann and Matt Elliott used to great effect

Yes, as used by Nasser Hussain in the late 90s.
