This just reminds me of the wonder bra era

everything looks great and well packages till you unwrap and it all disappears

The first cricket box was used in 1874.  The first cricket helmet was introduced in 1974. So, it took 100 years for men to twig that their brains were also worth protecting.

@Churchy1989 - did you get a response from 'assports' about your broken spikes?

I did, the chap said he was on business and was sorry for the delayed response.

I was not offered a refund, I was offered the money off another product of my choice (so buy a bat and you get £15 off).

I was not too happy with that response and will not use them again.

Couple of guys locally used CX bats last year. Remember seeing them as they looked stunning and played pretty well to be fair.

I personally don't trust these lads. I have been in touch with CX sales representatives and so far most of the bat pictures that I have received from them look fake. At one point, they tried to sell me a fake SS maximus and when I told them the sticker looks fake. They ask me to send them picture of Authentic SS maximus pictures so they can copy the stickers.

They are a must avoid company in my opinion.

agree, watched the video and they use fake grain sheets to hide low grade bats according to Hanif.

Precisely! Plus their bats are very expensive, I rather get a custom made bat.

I had quite a confusing conversation with guy a while back. It went on and on and around in circles. He assured me that only bats labelled as Inventec had the face "technology" and that the other range, which he called bonafiet were all natural willow bats. I pointed out several advertised bats without the Inventec sticker had 20+ grains on the face but less than 10 on the back........ I asked why all the bats aren't advertised as exactly to what they are and he said he "couldn't", (Couldn't sell any if he was honest?) but that he tells anyone that purhases one. Sure thing..... I agree that some look amazing! And im sure that some might be genuine but far too dodgey to take the gamble for me.

Would it be considered racist to suggest that there seems to be a culture of dishonesty amongst Pakistani cricket people?

Yes, very much so! I have never had any issue with Pakistani people. I have found them to be polite and courteous at all times.

My understanding is the INVENTEC sticker has only been recently introduced. So previously they were sold without it been obviously clear that these were bats with grain sheets on it. The caveat was, they would provide a small booklet with the bat, which detailed their "special technology".
