Ok - managed to get bats down to 22 but will try to stream it down to a few less.

Morning chaps

Final role call complete. so we are going for a flat rate of £10 per head

21 people so the first hour will be a test in variation for the batsmen but once we get in to the whole hall we will get 4 nets going.

So if you paid £15 then you will be returned £5 these are below

@Simon May
@Fattus
@PPCCOperner
@Pete Hosk
@jblowe
@Dorset Dan

@neoncricket - I owe you £15 as you are unable to make it

This leaves us with a little extra (£25) which I planned to use for a future session or put behind the bar for the first round, I don't mind either way

see you all @ 11

Second all that, thanks Matt. Tremendous turnout and something for everyone, whether you wanted a bowler vs batsman contest, earnest dissection of technique one on of the two bowling machines, or just wanted to stroke the vast quantities of wood on display.

Oh, so much to discuss!! But folks - WE HAVE A NEW FORUM BROMANCE!!!! A certain pair spent many hours together in one net, with their heads together furtively discussing tips and techniques. In fact, it took a bucket of cold water and some flapjacks to seperate them!

Simon has a 50/50 monster which is the biggest 'useable weight' bat certainly I've ever seen.

Nobody else seemed interested in using the bowling machine so we just kept using it...
