Just started a new job - no idea if I’ll be working or not, I can’t imagine I am! However, can I remain a maybe because I’d love to come.

Ones got 50mm edges and a 70mm spine,

Sounds great mate, did you manage to get it down to a manageable weight, and what shape did you go for - warner or lower middle?

It's more a hybrid
I'm not gonna shave a toe, or duckbill it, it's gotta have a lot of wood down there.

It was so hard to leave the edges at 50mm, my old lavers spine is that, and that's one of the best bats I've ever used.
I like the pick up, so far
Still got at least 3 ounce to come off in cleaning it up,( it's just under 3lb now)
I might also taper the blade a little
I'm still struggling with toes
Need to work on a bench really, it's hard work sat in a deckchair, holding the bat between my legs!

Petes  got a pic of it, if he doesn't mind posting it?ha

I have reserved 1 normal net (so everyone can bowl) for 2 hours and the Merlyn bowling machine lane for 2 hours
This will be from 4pm-6pm on Friday 29th - I do have an option to add 1 more lane if the "possibles" come? But am getting discount price so please let me know pretty soon if there is anyone else, all are welcome!

Paypal deposit will follow this weekend to book it at £10 per head.

Is it too late to ask if I can join this?  And is it at the Oval?

If there’s still space - I’m in! Could do with some exercise.
