The way my teammates bat there flat face bats soon have a camber

I find flat face bats better due to following reasons
1) I certainly have more control on direction
2) The face of bat looks and feels wider compared to F7 camber which somehow tends to look narrower, so the confidance definitely helps that I can get bat to ball.
3) off centre hits have some results whereas cambered bats off centre hits are generally drop dead.

Cambered faces allow you to run the ball off the near-edge ie through third-man etc . They are more durable . When i hit a ball out of the centre with a cambered bat it just feels like the convex shape is making the shot feel sweeter in the hands , not pingier ...but it feels pingier . But flat face gives better feedback ie ball always tend to go where you think it will . For whatever reason , my favourite bats pickup wise are all cambered .  But my favourite 'weapon' bats are all flat faced .
 Ultimately,  not that much difference. ...if the flat face bat feels better and you're prepared to bone/knock in edges more (and possibly do a touch more run in repairs) then just go with that bat .

I remember when Salix first offered flatter faces, the theory behind there bats and the shaping that went into them was more power due to more wood behind the whole blade so value for off centre shots. We did get more returns that first year mainly with edge damage as clear most do not knock bats in and with the sharper edges it caused more early damage. They are back to rounder faces now for this simple reason I believe

Why didn't the manufacturers round the edges before sale? and prevent a huge amount of returns.

And don't give me the "big edges sell" nonsense, as returning to cambered face bats knocks of the similar amount of edge size as rounding a flat faced bat would anyway.

The edges were rounded on all Salix bats but still saw a much higher return ratio then they had seen I previous years before offering flat faced. I stopped working there at the end of the first season when the torque and HitsHard bats were being offered in flat face
