Aus v SA Test- BT Sport
« on: October 14, 2016, 10:13:43 AM »

Greg James moving to BT Sport to host the SA v Oz series starting on the 3rd Nov then it seems. (Also Aus V Pak and the Big Bash)

Does this make it more accessible to people? Do more people have BT over Sky?

As a Sky subscriber who doesn't have BT Sport is just reminds me it's a farce the former couldn't sort out a TV deal. Ah.

Its one of the reasons I stuck with Virgin as BT is included as part of the package + the 200mb broadband!

This is a massive pain in the (No Swearing Please) for me, BT are charging 21.99 a month to watch BT Sport on Sky, with my bill already being around 70 quid a month for Sky no way am I gonna pay an extra 20.

Greg James presenting it??? Horrendous, he's bad enough on the radio, now we have to look at him as well

They'd be better off paying one of us to present it

Another nail in the coffin for cricket......... more money needed for the serious enthusiast to follow it all.

Perfect for me! Have BT Sport in the bedroom and Sky Sports downstairs. Now I can escape from the wide in two rooms!

Surely BT sport is cheaper and more affordable than having Sky though at £3 a month + £19 line rental which most people have to take the hit on anyway.

At least if it's rained off we'd have tutorials on "How to bend it like Bruce".

Ponting would be found out very quickly. Blame it on a conspiracy.

Are you suggesting people ditch sky for bt?
How do they watch the rest of sky's cricket, f1 and anything else they watch via sky?

To me this is like football. Sky has rights to one portion for the sport, bt the other, so to watch everything I have to pay for both.
Which ain't cheap whichever way you look at it.

So for someone that has sky not just for cricket and now has to add bt, it's just costing us more money while another CEO gets to buy his 5th beach house.

People will spout the "it's bringing money into the sport" yes it is but it's also slowly killing off the fans that love the sport.
