Having had both knees reconstructed it's a frustrating period having to do the rehab and Physio. Had to pack in football at the ripe old age of 22 as a result as it took me a week to recover from a 90 min game.

Surgery techniques have prob moved forward now along with recovery times tho so fingers crossed for a speedy recovery.

Hopefully, if I commit properly to rehab and physio, I can potentially make a return to football. Take things as they come I suppose!

Feel your pain I had double ligament repair / reconstruction the back end of September so am in the middle of rehab at the moment. Like you this seasons probably too much of a stretch for me (I'm not looking forward to the end of April and being on the other side of the boundary rope).
Spent the good part of the entire last season behind the rope. Fortunately I had coaching duties to fall back on which satisfied my craving for the game!

@GeorgeB93 what are the blank pads and gloves mate?
Got them off online stockist, £12 a set on the gloves and £17 on the pads. Labelled up as 'test quality'. Not as good as GP247 softs but would highly recommend if you wanted cheap gloves and pads!

Proper match kit...

I have been having a big clear out of gear ahead of this season, and will be selling more over the next few weeks. This is because I need to raise funds for two reasons, firstly that I am starting teacher training in September and secondly I am saving up to hopefully play in the u24 Ultimate World Championships with GB in Jan 2018 (in Perth, Aus hence already saving).

My kit is largely the same as it was from halfway through last season, and I will source pictures soon.

Bats:
B3 Bespoke 3 Stripe - shape 19, semi oval handle, 2lb8 undressed and 2lb9 dressed - probably the best bat I have ever used.
Blueroom Bombora bought on here, though that may be moved on despite being absolutely fantastic. 2lb8oz gun.
Icon Signature bought last season at Romida Hemel. Not a looker but huge and pings. Only 2lb10oz so light enough for me to use.
GM Flare Original - much more traditional than the others, 2lb9 and just a lovely piece of willow that feels great.

Pads, gloves, thigh pads, bags, keeping kit are all Legget and Coe Prophecy. Nice kit, though showing some wear after a seasons hard use.

Helmet has changed from being a Masuri Vision Test Ti to a Shrey Masterclass Air Ti with NekTek. Much lighter and feels more comfy.

Spikes are now Asics in blue to match my other kit, bought in the end of season sales along with the lid.

I've been pretty badly injured over Xmas (tore my left anterior talofibular ligament and in the process trapped an interior ankle ligament in my ankle joint) but have been able to bowl a reasonable amount. Batted for the first time today and I don't think I've ever hit a ball so hard! S&C programme for GB must be working wonders! Hopefully fully fit soon and able to properly push myself with the leggies and variants ahead of the season.

In true CBF style, I decided that lugging my match kit to training every week was a bit unnecessary.
The obvious resolution to this problem was to get a 2nd set of kit for training!

All of my Hunts County gear for the season has now arrived, so I got the camera and snapped a few quick pictures tonight.

First up my net kit.

Hunts County Triumph Duffle Bag
Hunts County Revolution Batting pads
Hunts County Aura Batting Gloves
Hunts County Triumph Batting Gloves
Moonwalk Thigh Pad Set
Aero P1 Arm Guard
Aero Box
Masri Vision Series Elite Titanium with Stem Guard
Gunn & Moore Maestro Shoes (side logo removed and tongue whited out)

And now for my match kit

Hunts County Aura Wheelie Bag
Hunts County Aura Batting Pads
Hunts County Revolution Batting Gloves
Hunts County Aura Batting Gloves
Aero P2 Stripper Thigh Pad Set
Aero Box
Masuri Original Series 2 Titanium with Stem Guard
Asics Gel Gully 3 Shoes

And last but not least...

The willow

From left to right:
Hunts County Triumph
Hunts County Butterfly Custom (Aura 1000 stickers)
Hunts County Reflex (refurbished as an Aura 1000)
Hunts County Aura 650 (2016 stickers)
Hunts County Turbo Revolution 900
Hunts County Aura 700 (2016 stickers)
Hunts County G1 Custom (Aura 1000 stickers)

How often do you need a change of gloves in a net Cam? ;)

Well, as of today my 2017 kit is complete (probably!). So without further ado, here's the match only gear:

GN Predator bag
Bradbury players softs - too classy, hopefully I'll lull some oppositions into a false sense of respect walking out with these on!
P2 Strippers
Puma SE backup gloves
Red Ink keeping gloves for the odd occasion I keep in friendlies, suspect these won't get much use this year. Matching pads are lurking about somewhere.
Just realised I haven't included lid and spikes, but Masuri Test ti and Asics 210no

and the willow, these are the few most likely to get used frequently. All sourced through the forum, all crackers!
H4L NV - 2.12.5
GN Nemesis - 2.12.5 and likely to be first choice, I like the others but when this is available to use it's so hard to walk out to bat with anything else.
Red Ink custom LB - 2.11.2
Aldred Silver Sovreign - 2.11

@edge what are those red marks on your bats?

I don't think I've seen anything like that posted on here in a long time!  ;)
