I looked around youtube for an indoor drill for keepers using a bowling machine and a katchet mat. I only saw one with the mat right next the the machine at ground level.
Would it be suicidal or useless to try to put a board on a decent length and aim the machine at it? I was thinking around 40-50mph and stand up to the stumps.
My main aim is to work on reacting to large deviations which should hopefully mean I get my feet, head and hands in better positions to do so. I also thought that the natural variations of a bowling machine will mean it will miss the matt fairly often making some balls easy and some ridiculously hard.
I am stupid or mad?
