Forum Bias and hypocrisy regarding grey imports
« on: January 13, 2017, 11:31:04 AM »

We have some SG softs in stock, but if you need a particular bat, just let me know which model, approx weight and we can order one for you. Weight may not be exact but we will request it.

SG softs are not made for the UK market and the manufacturers will not sell to UK retailers, so these softs would be classed as grey imports based on the forums interpretation, as would any SG bat imported by aswani.

we have SS ,LE, Grade 1,Grade 2 in stock, all plain

Based on the forums understanding of a grey imports I am assuming that everyone is aware that these bats are considered grey imports. VKS has also imported TON bats direct from the factory not made for the UK market and not through the UK distributor, but again he is a sponsor so we will not mention this.

There is obviously a massive bias on this forum, if a sponsor is to do something it is amazing. If some one else was to carry out the same action they should be avoided. Seems hypocrisy is rife in this place.

Popcorn time!

In all seriousness, I'm not sure you actually understand exactly what a grey import is and what the legalities of them are Hanif?
Top work picking some posts from 2012 out, that must have taken some searching ;)

Strauss retired and as he was born in sa and should never have been available for England (in some people's opinions, not mine I may add) that would also make him a grey import??

These posts were taken from a recent topic that was resurrected and there was a mention of grey imports and how we had gone missing since this was mentioned. There are sponsors on this forum who are still selling grey imports and still have what you guys class as a grey import listed on their websites.

I get it now, this is a thread to get you back in people's minds and aware you have some grey imports at some prices.

No such thing as bad publicity eh? All helps.

We are not a part of this forum, we do not need this forum to promote our business, but in the same breath there is no reason for people on this forum to bad mouth our business when you have had no dealings with us. please feel free to lock this topic down.
