Front foot is quite static and not getting to pitch of the ball. In addition the bat comes down from
What looks like 2nd slip position and ends up pointing towards mid on at the end of the shot, a bit like whipping towards leg.

If possible look getting front foot towards the ball and maybe a lower back lift focusing on punching the drive instead of full swing to allow body to be more compact in the shot. Hope that makes some sense

@Seniorplayer genuine question. You've mentioned time between balls twice now. Just asking if you do realise the video is edited to make it shorter and only show the shots, not the gap inbetween?

A bowling machine is thick and fast, but I'm not sure anyone would want it that quick between balls.

Think most people have hit the nail here by stating your weight is going in the wrong direction, get your head and front foot to the ball and stop that hip from coming round quite so much which causes you to walk through your shots. You lose so much power when you do that, I have a similar problem because I love playing through the leg side and it comes more naturally to me. But actually you'll find that by playing straighter and with better balance your leg side shots will be better because there will be less risky whipping of the ball to square areas and more powerful drives to the on side and through mid wicket with a straighter bat. Just a thought but do you tuck your right elbow in to your side in your stance? If you do then if you lift it away from your body (to get that rocking the baby motion) you may find the bat goes up in a straight line and comes back down on the same line as a result. Many great players have had a backlift that went away to the slips but they were good enough to still bring it back in a straight line. I'd wager 99% of us are not that good and would probably benefit from making things simpler for ourselves.

Hit the nail on the head right there.

Yes I know it's edited I was referring to bowling machines in general as I believe   when it comes to net practice less is more.

Less is more ? Nah, volume is vital but it has to also be effective training not just 'hitting balls'. Although, thst will also help just the gains will be less

Thoughts are Adi would rather have 20 quality ball than 40 from  bowlers trying to knock my head off

You'd hate my club's winter nets, 10 minutes batting each where you face predominantly half trackers and wide.
It costs £5 for the pleasure and doesn't do anyone any good in reality (which is why I haven't bothered attending any so far this year)

That's why our winter nets are so much fun!! No matter how short you pitch it, it doesn't get off the floor more than 8 inches.......

Our nets are at the Ageas Bowl indoor school, a magic track were even the slowest of bowlers are suddenly able to bowl "bouncers".
Amazingly if people try bowling that length on an April pitch it comes out as either a long hop, or bounces twice... :-[

Your front shoulder should be going to the ball, this will stop you being open chested and your hip coming through. You can practise this with the 3 static ball drill, hitting a leg side drive, straight drive and off drive.

As most of experts already pointed it out, your front foot isn't going anywhere. Just work on your front foot and balance.

Your game seems so much better compare to mine.
