It is similar although the middle is slightly higher.
It's a great pickup and feels superb mate!
The blade is a little longer too with standard length handle.

Had a little waft with this bat last night
Very very nice
It's got a huge middle on it, especially low down , not quite sure how matt does it, but fair play it works.
He keeps crafting these beauties for us to use

It was ridiculous just how much it was kicking, even right near the toe!!
I guess I have no excuses this season now! If I don't hit runs, I can't use the, "My bat is a plank" excuse, can I!!! 
It will have to be, "I am a plank" instead!!

Mind you I do not see myself getting a bat this season, as the opposition will be spending all day looking for the ball in the next field, that is with you and @Northern monkey batting in front of me.  Man! @Northern monkey hit the ball hard yesterday, I was the opposite couldn't seem to make contact yesterday, poor show really, hope my new captain missed me batting or I will be propping up the tail.

Hey - you have looked excellent at some nets. The bowling was right on point last night from a number of them! And your Larsons (which sounded like a gun by the way!!) does not have a great pickup. So although it is light it felt heavier Jason. Once you changed bats you looked better though, although IO have seen you bat countless times better!
And he was nailing the ball - we are going to need foam walls at the far end and the bowlers will need to start wearing as much padding as the batsmen if @Northern monkey and a couple of the other batsmen (like big Ben) are going to continue nailing it! Chris (who I believe will captain the side?) hits it as hard or harder than Northern with his 3lb piece of willow. Whereas I will look like a prodder at the other end!

@Northern monkey was mad last night. just smashed everything.

Got to say the Larson has a really good middle. when I managed to hit on I thought I might have taken a brick out of the back wall.
