I think Billings will struggle to be an automatic pick looking at DD's overseas roster

thats a fair shout - you have to think that De Kock will keep then the other 3 will be Rabada, Duminy and then 1 of the AR's so Morris, Matthews, Anderson or Brathwaite

Don't see Morgan getting many games for Punjab. Maxwell and Miller are locked on to play every match. Stonis probably bagged himself the all rounder spot. I doubt they would go in with 4 overseasa whom are mainly batsmen.

As for Roy unless he's somehow learnt to play spin, he's no more than a bench player.

Happy for Mills. After all he's been through, to make more in one evening than most of us do in a lifetime is amazing! Well done kiddo!

Dont know what the teams see in Eoin Morgan....he lacks consistency but still gets picked by teams.

for what they've paid?  he's a decent bet.

Gutted Lyon didn't go for his 200k asking price. Haddin also stuck himself for 200k!

Don't be surprised when he gets figured out and smacked everywhere  ;)

Not sure I agree. Mills is going to do well IMO.
And I am sure Virat would have had a hand in getting him signed up. Having just faced him, I think Virat was impressed.

Prett sure all players enter the auction again in 2018, so Pune and Bangalore went big on Stokes and Mills as they know it's only for 1 season. Guptill bargain of a lifetime 50lahks! Sad that Brad Hogg missed out. Also Tahir surprisingly got no love

Tahir --- I think his orgins may have something to do with not getting picked. As performance wise, his decent in t20 format?

He played in the past three seasons...so that definitely cannot be the reason.

I read that most South Africans have to leave early to prepare for champions trophy so it'd probably likely Tahir will get another chance in 2018

Why would any franchise buy a mediocre off spinner? Basically every Indian domestic player can bowl some flithy off breaks

Personally think Mills would've been better off at Mumbai or Kolkata. The pitches offer more for change up deliveries. Whereas Bangalore is pretty much a batsman's playground
