Well is it time to drop Roy now?? If he can't score in these flat conditions when will he.

His last 7 knocks (cricinfo): 17, 0, 20, 1, 8, 4, 1

Those scores of 17 and 20 bringing his average up nicely.

I have no problem just letting YJB open, he's done it well for Yorkshire this season.

Anything on whether Woakes can bat?
Will bat If required.

The CBF bairstow selection committee was aiming both barrels at Hales only a month or two, and Morgan before that. It'll pass ;)

Just to clarify I wasn't suggesting they should necessarily drop Roy merely suggesting that if they do I would open with Bairstow rather than Buttler.

so 306 to win.... what do you think?

we should cruise this right.... ;) ;)

my money is on us getting it 4 or 5 down, Roy failing again to keep the Bairstow debate running, runs for Hales and Root

I wasn't too far off  :)

Where's all the comments other teams use to get when 300 played 300?? Flat pitch, poor cricket, nothing in it for the bowler etc.

How times change

Good chase by England, 10:30 starts really making winning the toss important
