^ ICC don't know what they are talking about when it comes to big bats. Their approach is a total cop out and they soil their pants when asked to RESTORE boundary length to good, long boundaries and prepare good pitches to play. They will not implement and enforce REAL changes to cricket but will blame big bats. This dishonesty wasn't bad enough but then Ponting had to join the loud chorus of 'ban-the-big-bats' followed by James Laver. I lost respect for both. Every time I see a bat offering from Laver on facebook, I resist the urge to post a strongly worded message. As far as I know, no real pros just Lavers just us amateurs.
ICC/MCC should allow all amateurs and club cricketers to use their big bats indefinitely. Let Pros be pros and force them to use thin bats since they have the muscle, talent, and the practice time to make the most of those toothpick sized bats.
