211 all out - fearless England? New England? New brand of cricket? Seems to be the same old as soon as the pitch is a bit slow

Pakistan should win this but given their batting it's probably still 50/50

^ Since Hafeez is playing for Pakistan, England are clearly ahead already!

Exhibit A: you don't need to limit the size of bats, and all that nonsense. all the ICC has to do to restore "balance" is prepare non-road pitches.

^ ICC don't know what they are talking about when it comes to big bats. Their approach is a total cop out and they soil their pants when asked to RESTORE boundary length to good, long boundaries and prepare good pitches to play. They will not implement and enforce REAL changes to cricket but will blame big bats. This dishonesty wasn't bad enough but then Ponting had to join the loud chorus of 'ban-the-big-bats' followed by James Laver. I lost respect for both. Every time I see a bat offering from Laver on facebook, I resist the urge to post a strongly worded message. As far as  I know, no real pros just Lavers just us amateurs.

ICC/MCC should allow all amateurs and club cricketers to use their big bats indefinitely. Let Pros be pros and force them to use thin bats since they have the muscle, talent, and the practice time to make the most of those toothpick sized bats. :D

this kid has only played 3 ODIs, and already hit on the helmet 8-9 times

211 will be a sticky chase. Pakistan batting is fragile. Will need a good bowling display from England.

Does he change his helmet after every hit? ICC/MCC should enforce it as a rule - a real health related rule and not badger cricketers on their bat size!

I'd be very surprised if that was the case...

I like this tactic from England... Bang it in halfway down without anybody on the pull!  :(

^ Easier said than done. Pak batting line up is very fragile and middle order is non-existant. I say it is still England's game to win.

None of the openers have actually middled a pull shot, all edges. It tells you something.

Won the toss and bowled well on a so so deck against batters playing like it was a belter. Most of the works been done, chasing a score like this you might as well have a dart early on.
