Odd that they would use a used pitch for a semi final. Then again ICC is in charge of pitches - bet they'd want an india pakistan final

Well in these ICC events it's the only time the governing body can manipulate the draw to get these two countries to play each other. It's the cash cow match up.

Not difficult pitch now. Even though it's used still a decent flat track as all England pitches have been in recent times. 300 average score even on today's pitch. Credit to Pakistan's bowlers for the way they have bowler after the Indian game. They have made batting look difficult on goo batting tracks. Now all needed is one more world class performance from their bowlers in the final and if it's India let's hope pressure don't get the better of them.

Problem with eng is all their batters are playing for 300+ or none at all..Once they realize the pitch is difficult, better to have a plan B and try for something like 250-270 which they have capability to do easily if they decide to do so. However, they played as if only way to win was by scoring 300+ and if not, like there is no point trying for anything else...

Pakistan have played better than England.  I think that is all there is to it!

Go well in the final Pakistan.

Taking nothing away from pakistan, that was a world class bowling performance. Blessing in disguise that amir and wahab got injured. I gave them no chance but happy to be wrong.

Got tickets for the final, India vs. Pak (assuming india win tomorrow) should be a great atmosphere. Assume ticket prices are already crazy for the final

I gave them no chance too. But amazed how they have bounced back after the first game against India. Just hoping Bangladesh somehow beats India as Pakistan will most likely bottle it against India.

Prices likely to go up even more now that Pak are in the finals. Just think of how many bats you can buy  ;)
