In this match  DD vs RCB, many times it happened when Batsman got out just after big shots or 1 or 2 deliveries after it

Question has to be asked what's dhoni been doing last 2 games?? Nearly cost his side last game, had smith not saved them in the last over

Something is brewing between RPS owners and Dhoni. Goenka brothers have been ranting on twitter about Smith being a better replacement for Dhoni as a captain and today they called Dale Christian to be more valuable than Smith or Dhoni. Clearly the owners are barmy and they are going to squeeze MS out.

Last game, i think either MS or Smith would have got them through to the end. Smith clearly built the chase and i naturally expected MS to finish it off, but it was Smith all the way. MS game has certainly gone down in the last few years and the waning interest in RPS team might not be serving any motivation for him to perform well. They need a wicket keeper and he is the only one they have. They can't drop him can they? He will get his stock of money for this season and move on to another team next season  :D :D :D

CSK and RR should be back from suspensions for IPL 2018, so the problem might resolve itself.

Makes sense. It just a matter of waiting for an year. For all new MSD could be re-instated captain at CSK in 2018.

Yep! But don't current sides still get first refusal on current players?

All teams except Gujarat Lions & RPS, would release most of their players but they would hold rights to retain their top 3 or 4 players. GL & RPS were replacement teams for CSK & RR, so they might have to end up releasing the whole team. GL & RPS also hold very less share in the money, something to do with their bidding contract. Even if they end up winning the IPL these two teams will take home less money when compared with one of the other six teams being the winner. So after this season RPS & GL teams might look at the feasibility of this business. If they decide to pull out then its back to regular outing with current teams plus CSK & RR.

More details would come out closer to next year's IPL auction. Until then its all guess work ...
