Hi all,
First time poster here. My old bat finally gave up on me yesterday, so I'm now in the market for a new bat but I don't know where to start.
I'm looking for something reasonably light, with a fairly low middle as I'm a bit of a nudger rather than a smash it out of the park kind of batsman!
Budget is up to approx two hundred quid.
I'm West Midlands based so have a few independent bat manufacturers nearby in Hawk and Stac, but thought I'd seek out some advice from you guys first.
Any help would be appreciated, cheers.

Any of the forum sponsored should sort you but you could get a decent grade custom from hunts through @Vitas Cricket for that budget I reckon

I would also very highly recommend one of @Uzi Sports own brand bats. I'm using a Poseidon this season and I've been really impressed with just how stonking a bat it is. Generally that profile comes in slightly heavier weights though so I'd recommend looking at the Diablo which has more scooping and brings the weight down to something maybe a bit more manageable. The mamba has the low middle you want but tends to also be heavier. But hey if you're nudging why not have something heavier and get more value for your shots? Just a thought.

What weight? Where do you want the middle? Oval or round handle?

With these basics visit a local specialist who can help narrow down the list. Actually picking up the bats and listening to what the specialists have to say will save you money in the long run.

Don't over complicate it. It is a piece of wood meant to hit cricket balls. Even if the bat is not going to be 100% what you are looking for it will be very close and you can either fine tune it or buy another bat. Welcome to our world.

On a serious note tho, so many options and variables, literally every company in the world would have something they could do for 200 quid

Thank you for all of the responses so far.
I've got a rough idea of what I'm looking for, so when I get chance I'll be making a trip to either Hawk or Stac to see what they've got.
Do like the B3 concept, but I'd definitley prefer to have a feel of the bat before making the purchase.
