We have one set of right handed Aldred pads left which have a small top hat - https://www.thecricketboutique.co.uk/aldred---mens-batting-pads-right-hand-287-p.asp
Quite like these although may have to keep an eye on EBay for a similar style secondhand pair given I didn't really want to spend more than £40-£50.

Try the Ayrtek youth size.

I've got a Few pairs in stock if you're looking to try them @Lumsden 👍

Just thought I would update this thread.

Since my initial post I have been checking EBay daily for pads with a small top hat and angled in but generally they have been expensive. However last week spotted a pair of very nice looking Redback pads but were advertised as damaged as one had a very small hole.  Perhaps the word damaged in the title put most people off as I won them on Friday afternoon for just £13.50 (+ £6.50 postage) and they arrived today. Anyhow with roadworks going on outside my house (I don't need much of an excuse), I nipped over to Stumps in Wakefield for a bowling machine session. I'll wait until I've scored some runs wearing them before heralding their purchase a complete success but it definitely felt much better batting with more compact pads.

One of my teammates has Newbury (I think SPS) that have small area above the knee roll. My advice would be got to a cricket shop and tell them what you are looking for and try some pairs on

Think you missed my post above. I got a pair of Redback pads and have to say what a difference it has made not wearing bulky pads anymore.
