True, B3 are acting cheeky but this could cause issues for the young player with his sponsor/contract. Especially when the sponsor are a big bat maker themselves

Technically b3 didn't say his bat was b3 .... they just said that they can make one exactly the same . We all know thats because they have the cnc profile number from when they made his bat , but at a pinch b3 could just say they mean that they can make an exact replica of a ca 15000 . Simple . Cheeky , borderline perhaps , but simple nonetheless.

I rate B3 among the best bat makers and i got 2 B3 bats myself. It would be intersting if B3 can share the profile details of the bat like they did for Shan Masood profile. @The Doctor

It is all down to the player, for example - Shoib Malik did not mind people knowing that we made his bats, where as another Pakistan player at the same time didn't want people to know - so we didn't say anything.

Finch openly posted on instagram/twitter, other players like him have said again that we must keep it a secret.

We would love to tell you all who we make for but we have an agreement with either other brands or individual players.

As for new to the business - B3 has been around for 5 years, and prior to that a further 28 years in the industry in a global cricket brand.

I would have said "Surely no-one in the world still thinks that Pros only use the brand on their bats" Then I saw some of the Pakistani comments on B3's post on FB and I just rolled my eyes.
Obviously a hell of a bat because he didn't middle too many in that innings and it still flew.
