Awesome job with that!

Enjoying seeing some of these refurbs and it has given me the urge to start sorting out my own bats. Bought sander, bench and clamps and cant wait to get going with mine! will post some pics up of my bats hopefully coming back to life!!

Wow, fabulous job. How does it tap?

If you don't mind me asking, where did you source those Newbery Uzi stickers? Thank you.

This post actually made me sad.. I will NEVER score enough runs to actually get one of my bats to look like that

It is about the use - you can actually reach to this point if you persist with one.

Maybe I need to contact someone to confiscate all of your bat except one? ;P

He will, if he uses same bats against all balls...

Another season of use and abuse down and this bat is in my possession once again, this time with a rather nasty split down a shoulder.

I'll get some pictures tonight and update as I go, but I fear it may have got to a stage beyond repair!  :(

Anyone old enough to remember the six million dollar man??
This bat reminds me of the opening sequence,,,,’we can rebuild you’

Salute to the immense patience required to do this job, a crafty batsman's asset I guess...

Okay so here it is, back with me again for another possible repair job.

I'll upload these in the sequence of events as I did things, so you can discover things as I did!
As you can see it's had some more use, it's definitely had a few runs through it!

Unfortunately there's a split through the toe that runs up the back

The slice seems to have opened around the hands

And there's a split through one of the shoulders
