Yep i thought it strange no Crane after his performance last time out.

Also interesting no Wood in either squad. I would have thought he has to play at some point before the Ashes?

I would have liked to maybe see some recognition for achievements in this year's Blast as well. So maybe someone like Harry Guerney get a chance.

He's been tried and disposed of already though  :(

Pick Dawson and leave out Crane - Hampshire have to play Crane in the 4 dayers? Quite boring squads for an end of summer series v WI, would have liked to see a different batting or all-round option or two.

True but that was in 2014 when we were playing awful white ball cricket in general.

More concerned we are not finding out about a second spinner for Australia. Normally they at least give  someone a few games in one days at least.

Unless I'm missing it completely and we will take Dawson and Rashid ? We are going to need two spinners I think at Sydney.cant believe it will be Dawson or Rashid to go with Ali.

If it is going to be crane as well on tour v surprised he is not picked here.

Could be viewing it as him playing the last few championship games of the season being more beneficial than playing limited overs cricket for him. He's also not been made available for Hampshire's championship game tomorrow suggesting they haven't completely written off him playing at Lords yet.

As a Durham lad I'm left feeling like I've had a bit of a kick in the balls with Stokes not getting picked for the one t20 at Durham. Durham obviously using Stokes in the billing for the game and we obviously need any help we can get but nope he's been 'rested'. On a positive note we have got a floodlit ODI against the Aussies next year which I wasn't expecting.

I'm going to the T20 at Durham and was a little disappointed at the lack of Stokes and Ali but still looking forward to it  :D

Brilliant work from the bowlers to claw this back after Gayle/Lewis had tonked it around. Rashid's control has come on leaps and bounds.

Did Root have a word with Hales after he hit Williams for a front foot pull to the cow corner? Root didn't seem happy.

Well there's no better time to get runs than now with root at the other end

If there is a middle order spot for Oz Hales is making a case.
