Only seen a very quick highlight clip tbh, presumed he'd come in off the fence.
Same here, but he's definitely going sideways, would have been much easier if he was stood on the fence. Harsh maybe given the catch, but that kind of thing does my head in (can you tell how my side's fielding went this season ha?). The good old 'saving two' fielding position straight out of village cricket!

The worst as a "spinner" (term used loosely) is when you put a man out on the hoik and they drift in from the line and it goes over their head for a one bounce four, which to be fair is what would have happened there at club level.

To be fair the worst I've seen was actually the other way round - teammate on a hattrick and fivefer, colt in to bat, skipper brings everyone in catching but forgets to move himself and stays on the circle at backward point... batsman cuts limply and it lobs gently up to land 5 yards in front of him! The fines were strong that day.

Excellent running between root and bairstow that's an area we are good on.

And also.....a lesson from the pros how we can improve our cricket. Myself included of course  :)

Johnny shows why he should have played in the champions trophy if he had done so England might have won it.
Anyway we now have a partner for Hales.

Crikey! That went well for him, especially from those who claim to have played against him!
