Any CBFers in Bristol who can shed more light on the incident? What's Benji doing?!!! He is the perfect candidate for England captaincy in all formats.

Avon & Somerset Police appealing for witnesses to an incident in a Clifton Triangle bar at 2.35am in which a 27yo Male had facial injuries and a 26yo Male being arrested on suspicion of causing ABH, since released under investigation whilst enquiries continue. Read into this what you like I guess.

This looks pretty FACTUAL to me

https://twitter.com/bbctms/status/912656327511506944

What exactly is FACTUAL in the release??  I can't see anywhere the discussions between the parties involved mentioned. Also what the circumstances were as to why one person was left with injuries and yet the other wasn't..
Will.wait for the COMPLETE facts to be released to be honest. :)

From what I can gather by reading the terminology, he's clouted/been accused of clouting someone but there is insufficient evidence to hold him without charge.

It's the pending further investigation bit that is worrying, he may still be charged

Sounds like MBargo on a Sunday night on the Triangle, early hours of a Monday morning that's often a pretty easy place for a couple of big drunk lads to find themselves in a scrap. Hopefully not as bad as it sounds, but doesn't sound good does it.

Thank god he didn't try it on with Gayle

The biggest crime here is that they couldn’t find anywhere better to go in Bristol than Mbargo!

"Somerset and Avon police confirmed that a 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm - an offence which carries a maximum prison sentence of five years - while another man was taken to hospital with facial injuries."

That's serious business!

Should ban interesting toss up for Morgan:

Nass: Any changes?

Morgan: Just one, Stokes comes out of the side due to pending incarceration.

At least they won't be able to use 'rotation'
