BAS players gloves are amazing value. Great protection and quality. Those Red Ink X2 gloves look great value as well. Either of those would be my shout.

There are holes in each thumb where the leathers been worn away, but no reason to throw them away. After about 5,000 runs, they're just getting nicely worn in.

I had to throw my old gloves away because the holes had all joined together. I've never used inners, I like to feel the bat as closely as possible.

Uzi had them a while back, the BAS players gloves named as Sachin gloves I think. You could also look at the current CA plus 15000 gloves. Great price and used by test players.

Ss ( dhoni 7) , sm (vigour) , spartan (dhoni/bairstow) , kippax (stoneman), mrf (kholi) , bdm (sachin) , are all essentially the same as bas players gloves . I bought a stack of the sm's and ss (see start of this thread) from online stockist and with shipping included , assuming you're buying a few pairs and shipping costs is a wee bit more spread out , they cost me around $35-40au each (so like 15-18 quid or so ?). If you are put off from buying from ols then maybe uzi or kippax or even eas are options .

There aren't many bowlers who bowl 78mph in non-professional cricket no matter what day of the week it is. If you're not a professional cricketer and you're not playing against professional cricketers, you're wasting your money buying top of the range kit, frankly. You don't need it against 60-70mph stuff.

There are a lot of bowlers who think they bowl 80... get them in front of a speedo and see their faces drop when they top out at 72. Saw this numerous times at Ponty's fast bowling clinic.
