There's always a new flavour of the month ha, Kranzbuhler is just the latest. Having never batted with one myself, what's the big deal? Find it hard to imagine they actually ping noticeably better than a good'un from any other high quality maker, and shape is both very personal and not exactly difficult to copy.
I've heard from a source that will not be named that SK pours a special Run Sauce on them when he is pressing the blade. It's an Oz GN secret recipe that apprently guarantees runs no matter who is holding the bat...
Btw @InternalTraining. .... I'm getting my next 'kransie' in 4-6wks .... I'll keep you posted (but you can guess for now ).
There big, they ping, and they pick up beautifully....... Atleast mine does.
You are getting an Atomic. I may get a Kranzie too...I will let you guess as well but I doubt that anyone can get it right.
Have you seen the "XXX" line of GN AUS bats? They are shaped like Warner but under 2-9. The "custom" XXX-11 model goes for the same price as the Warner; I netted with one in 2-8 range. I wish I had the timing for such a light bat but the ping on that thing...wooooooo!!!!!!
An insight into a genius , all clefts come from england , gn uk were talking about waste with the larger clefts shaping them down to size, stu played around with these & the big bats were born , willow is sourced from the bottom of the tree , they weigh about 5lbs initially & take approx an extra hour than normal to shape , always thinking of something new & innovative.
