Mills, Jordan, Archer & Khan is a pretty decent bowling attack!

And you can add Garton to that.

Here's hoping he'll actually get a game when Archer and Jordan are off to the IPL.

He ought to, though that said Robinson and Whittingham will be up there too.

Zampa to Essex for the whole Blast.

They don't want Harmer bowling in the T20 stuff really, he didn't bowl any differently in the T20s to CC, and got absolutely carted!

Cricinfo reporting (within the Chadd Sayers story) that Hants have won the race to sign Northeast.

Test Ground, rich enough to afford him, but is it really the big move he needs to propel him towards the Test Side?

Test Match ground, Division 1 cricket, produced a few England players so in the limelight (admittedly Vince & Crane)
It's possibly as good a move for him as any.

It may have been circumstantial too. George Bailey is likely to retire soon (1 or 2 more seasons I reckon) and Northeast is a captain. Has he made the move with the intention of taking over as skipper?

I read on cricinfo recently that Bailey was not planning to return to Hants this year, so that would make sense.

Apologies, I must have thought I was back in Feb 2017 when they were on the brink of Div 2. My bad!  :(

Really? I thought he'd signed for 2018
I may have hallucinated that

I know your ground loses out and mine gains. For what it's worth, they do put on a very good show there. Went to watch the India test a few years back, and seen numerous big games there. They have a good set up.

Have to agree that Trent Bridge and your place losing out is sad though.

More tests in the south = more chance of an Aussie win.

Wouldn't catch the Aussies having a test down in Hobart when we're over.
