Great signing.

What do we think about the possibility of after Elgars 2 months, Kohli arriving? Kind of perfect timing wouldn't you say?

Works out rather nicely as far as I'm concerned. On paper right now, God this team looks absolutely stacked.

You've been able to say that about Surrey for a while though wouldn't you say? And even then we still seem to not do as well as the team would suggest on paper. Not just in the championship but in the shorter forms too.

Depends. Last year was looking good after the first game, then Ansari retired, then Footitt got homesick, hardly helped. Runs weren't the issue last year, taking 20 wickets and not knocking tails over was the big letdown. Morkel's the gamechanger with that one I feel

Very true. The batting was very good it was always threat with the ball we need. Morkel was looking brilliant at the end of the Aus series. Would not want to bat against him on the pitches that are going to be prepared early season. I think it’ll be interesting to see how they fit in some of the younger players like Pope, Jacks and Patel who all look very promising.

I really hate this 'drop in' thing.

Yeah, as if franchises aren't bad enough, these really are guns for hire
