You should sign Monty then - he's written to every county. I'm sure he'd fit right in at your place.

Actually, I wouldn't have minded that in the slightest.  I can see Gale being the kind of bloke to get something out of him.

Liam Norwell from Glos to Warks not getting any attention on here - very good signing that and a big loss for Gloucestershire.

Josh Poysden to Yorkshire's been confirmed this morning.

Like for like replacement for Rash - he was pretty tight last night too in the Blast. Should be a good signing.

That will be the end of Rashid then, I doubt either side will be too disappointed

Not necessarily - he was in talks earlier this week and if he is to have a serious Test career we'd need two.

Notts sign West Indies batsman Kraigg Brathwaite for rest of Championship season

Not the greatest replacement for QdK

With all of this going on what does everyone think of the talk of a County Cricket Transfer Window and/or Transfer Fees for players??

Rash will be in his happy place
Yorks must see some potential in Pillans
Do Surrey actually need Clark?
I thought Gleeson looked the nuts pre-season, but i think he's had injuries - i think he'd be a good addition for most counties.

Northants appear to in the bargain basement at the moment.
They have signed the third Curran (Ben, middle brother, top batter, bowls some offices) and "exciting" 21-year-old Zimbabwe quick Blessing Muzarabani.

With Sam playing for England and Rikki Clarke being 37 having a useful county alrounder for all formats will be good. I hope Jordan does really well.

You mean '2 Meter Muzarabani'?

I hope we don't get to the stage of transfer fees

See Bancroft to Durham next year - great signing for them.  Could be very interesting.
