See Bancroft to Durham next year - great signing for them.  Could be very interesting.

Seems like Durham are making quite a serious push to get back to Div 1.

Yorkshire have brought in NZ opener Jeet Raval in too for the rest of the County Champ season to cover for Williamson.

Yorkshire poaching Surrey's Matt Pillans confirmed today. Clearly another example if a wealthy county with a test ground buying players.

Ben slater leaves home club (derby) to join Notts

Played with him at youth level good player hope he can really push on and score heavily at Notts!

To be fair Surrey signed Plunkett from Yorks so I reckon they've got the better deal.

Poor Surrey. Never works the other way though?  ;) :D

In fairness, having thought about it, Surrey only seem to get players in from other Test Grounds... Stoneman, Borthwick, Clarke (although that was a rebound), Clark, Plunkett. Never from the smaller counties, which is what Notts do (for example)

Vikram Solanki and Steven Davies from my home county of Worcestershire just to name 2 disproves that theory. Surrey happy to poach talent from anywhere I think you'll actually find!

I meant recently, sorry didn't make that clear.
Solanki was 2012 and Davies was back in 2009!

And they took Foakes from my beloved Essex. I've changed my mind. Damn them to hell!

Isn't that what they are supposed to do?

This is an odd one.  He wasn't getting a game for Surrey, and you could argue he's at best seventh pick behind Coad, Fisher, Brooks, Patterson, Willey and Bresnan for Yorkshire.  Yet...I'd say if Yorkshire and Slurrey are fighting over a player, he must be pretty decent...

OK T20 player, started well this year then suddenly all fell apart.

Seems like nobody brought up Anuerin Donald going to Hampshire. Who's the moneybag county again?
