Severing ties it seems, who’s going to pick him up?

Have they just had to do that because of the general situation... or do they know something we don't?

Sponsorship these days is big business, Companies expect the right image in return for some huge money.

If you look at Roger Federer for example, a clean image and personality is what they want and look at the sponsors he has. modern day sport you don't need to be the best to make millions, Sharapova earns more than Williams in women's tennis with about 90 per cent less titles for example.

I think this was to be expected, the Stokes case has been done on another thread and everyone has an opinion.

At least today he has apologised for the Katie price video. If you mess up in life(was going to type something else there!) you man up and apologise.

At least he has done that.

Aa Asian brand may not be affected by bad publicity in England thou so maybe that would be a possibility.

I think Stokes has limited options so perhaps is putting in a bulk order of blank goods from Online Stockist?!

Who was he with before - bet they'll have him back?

Good on NB - whether he's guilty or not, it's not nice viewing if you're the guy who employed hm as a brand ambassador - someone's obviously made a ballsy decision.

This was bound to happen. You just can't put up a mighty brawl/show on candid camera and expect no consequences these days.

Alex Hales has been very lucky in all this. He literally and figuratively ducked out of the dark valley scot-free.

I imagine nobody will touch him until its a bit clearer when and what cricket he is going to be playing.

I wonder how the sponsorships work though in these situations. Will NB ask for their gear back? or can he just carry on using the stuff they have already given him until he gets a new sponsor?

Haha! He is an amazing cricketer but he does attract a lot of unwanted attention.

NB being the England kit sponsor too, do they know something we don’t? Seems increasingly unlikely he’ll play any part in the ashes, do wonder if they are best putting it to bed and saying he misses the tour now rather than it be strung out any longer
