I imagine nobody will touch him until its a bit clearer when and what cricket he is going to be playing.

I wonder how the sponsorships work though in these situations. Will NB ask for their gear back? or can he just carry on using the stuff they have already given him until he gets a new sponsor?

Nah, why would they want all the sweaty gear back?  ;)

(PS: Player gets to keep all the goodies).

NB being the England kit sponsor too, do they know something we don’t? Seems increasingly unlikely he’ll play any part in the ashes, do wonder if they are best putting it to bed and saying he misses the tour now rather than it be strung out any longer

Yes it does seem increasingly unlikely, just waiting for a press release saying exactly that. The telegraph reported a week ago he is out of the tour while the investigation goes on, and Avon police won't rush it just because of who he is.He is going to miss the Ashes and could have a long ban from the ECB.

Team photos will be a bit too when he does comes back, everyone in NB kit and Stokes in.....well....all white blank?

Very much doubt any England photos would allow any other kit than the official sponsor surely?

I’m sure this will just be his personal sponsorship deal with nb the England kit deal will be seperate otherwise players personal contracts would go against the NB’s kit deal especially those who use Adidas kit?

Depends what's in his contract @Cover_Drive - I know of a few companies that only send free kit out on a loan basis so it remains the property of the brand for instances just like this (Pretty sure B&S do a similar thing but donate to charity at the end?).

Anyway lets face it, a company of NB's size really aren't going to care about a bit of kit lol

They may have to photoshop the brand in/out and they may have to photoshop Stokes in or out of the photo too!!

There is evidently a group gathering next Tuesday in Loughborough which involves fielding practice, some bowling with Kook balls plus what to expect in Aus (hostile, quick bowling and lots of sledging would be my guess there!) But will be interesting to see if he is left out of that gathering or whether they say "see you next Tuesday" Stokesie! I think we all say that anyway!!  ;)

We are bad enough as it is without Stokes playing as well!

He'd still wear the NB england gear (if/when selected) just wont be using their batting gear and shoes?

At least Hales has got his post-cricket coaching career sorted - clearly the master at hit-and-run!

Can a player buy his own kit & use it with the brand visible? If yes he can take a revenge with NB by buying retail stock available (rather just use exisiting kit without getting paid) and using it in game  :D.. Can do that atleast for a few weeks
