@golders What @Neon Cricket said is true they are generally higher density due to the climate I believe. This was a one off made from a super low density cleft they got in when trialling the wood.

If you’re looking for one that is low density I’d have a word with Neon and see if they happen to have anything that’s come in lower density and can be used. I imagine as it’s brand new stock in the UK there must be some more low densities kicking around.

Like @Calzehbhoy says, generally they're of a higher density - the first batch were lower density but no doubt this would've been down to the supplier trying to impress them (I'd have certainly done the same!).

If you're interested I can always request if there's any low density available - I've just sorted a rather lovely low density English willow bat out for @Wickets-then-runs, 45mm edge/74mm spine at 2.10 on the nose (will be making it's way to Aus tomorrow!).

erm............ most of us have self-confessed problems with bats - I think you may have an issue with gloves!

Are you sweaty?

In fairness, I got an inner and outer set for $50 (yes, for both) and the other outer one for $40. Couldn't pass those up haha

Yes, I do I a glove issue too haha. I have accumulated those since 2012 and yes I sweat alot.

This year is the first year in a looonnng time that I haven't actually wanted anything cricket related and haven't perused eBay/gumtree/Facebook for gear on a daily basis.

Thing I like the most is the coffin as it cost an arm and a leg to ship over here, but it's cool and unique over here in Australia.

Go on then, here you go.

Match kit: big GN duffle, Bradbury softs, smelly old Aeros, Asics to be spiked up, ti Masuri and a set of spare blank batting gloves, more for pre match nets than any chance of me swapping them during an innings! These bats will all get a go but then I tend to settle on a favourite for league games.

Net kit, keep it in a smaller duffle so I can just grab it rather than faff unpacking matchday bits: smelly Puma softs, old ti Masuri, Ton thigh pad combo that may replace the Aeros if I get on with them. Bats aren't particularly net bats but these are just the two I use most at nets, particularly the blank which is great but a bit aged for match use.

And lastly spare bats, a couple that may see some t20 use if I play many, 99p eBay buy and a Spyder that's too light.

@edge that Laver and Wood Is a beauty and it certainly does fly off it when you connect! (which you have done plently of times when I have netted with you) @edge is a very good player  (Moddest with it too :-) )

Ha you're far too kind mate! I certainly hope the Laver goes as well outside as it does off the bowling machine, quite looking forward to using it in anger!

@Chalkie thanks bud, it's a GN Nemesis with some of the more offensive stickers removed and the Laver is a TR Original, the old Millichamp/Scat shape effectively I think.
