With Livingstone injured Northeast has been called up straight into the Lions team.

The Kent fans are going nuts on Social media saying he hasn't even played for Hampshire yet and he's got a call up etc...  :)

Dan Lawrence has broken his hand too - so Northeast has walked off the plane and gone straight into the playing XI. Hampshire will be furious when they get about 5 games out of him before he's lost to England!

They’ll be fine. Vince will be back full time by then!

The big counties are contacting every agent in the country reminding them what a move does!  ;)

We've been whitewashed in the series but not really surprised as we've been poor for years against spin.

Since his call up, Sam Northeast has made 24 runs in 4 innings.
Maybe he isn't the next great hope for the full side after all...  :(

Sam Hain scored 144 yesterday and we still lost. Argh.
Come on Other Sams you need to score some runs!

We've heard that one before. Quite a few times, I think.
