Really like the markings in the willow on this, can’t wait to get it sanded and polished

In all seriousness, I can only sell them/grade them on how the clefts are sold to me
That particular bat is a grade one in my eyes,,, but for whatever reason taps up really well, so would command slightly more because of that

Can't argue with that, trying to fathom how different bat makers grade their bats is baffling. surely it's more about the performance of the bat...

Absolutely agree
As for looks, it depends if there is something that may affect the blades performance or longevity
I’m lucky in that the choice I have is all my own choosing,,,

Personally I love markings/knots etc in a bat

But I’m not a fan of butterfly tbh
