I thought it was just me!  For some reason the pictures I take never seemed to reflect the side on profile I see with my eyes.

Super work as always :)  I would LOVE to see a video of your batmaking process.  Any chance of that ever happening?

That's a serious point. I find exactly the same. You have some lovely looking bat with a great profile but the camera makes it look really uninteresting from the side. It must be because of the lens set up in mobile phones. Manufacturers and serious sellers do a much better job than I can and I guess they are using a camera with a big lens to take the pictures.

I’ll look into YouTube, as it’s something I should be doing really then I can link it into my insta and Facebook

I agree entirely with the side on bat pictures, they just look dull?
My only issue with my sort of toe up shots, is it tends to exaggerate the duckbill look to them
I do still need to build a little photo booth,(I have some black gloss laminate) which I hope will make the bats easier to photograph.
I’m so busy at the minute tho, I really don’t get two minutes to do anything

Thank you for the comments tho, means a lot

That's another beauty.  I'll bet the new owner will be over the moon with it.

Yes that is a really nice bat,I’ve not seen a bat with the grains curved that way before
Looks good, but really does ping ridiculous
It’s gonna be hard letting this go for sure, but it’s off to one of my sons friends so I know it’ll be used at it should be

Gorgeous shape mate and those black and orange stickers are really starting to grow on me. You have some serious talent mate. Iv seen a couple of bats with this kind of banana grains but normally on bats that have a lot of stickers so hides them a bit I assume they are caused by the tree being blown around a lot?

Thank you for your comments 👍

I suppose the tree blowing around would explain the grain structure, wasn’t sure if maybe it was a top heavy tree or something,,,
I’ll be keen to get my hands on more of these if ever I spot them

It’s horrible having such a fantastic bat maker 10 minutes down the road, and having to restrain myself from visiting.
