Agree, would of loved a game at ashorne but it needed dry weather over Easter  to recover from flooding and the recent rain. Game was always conditional on dry warm weather. Chris hadn't been able to roll the square yet so probably not the cleverest idea.

Announced earlier that our pre-season game vs Burgess Hill is off already, was due to be on 21st. Groundsman hasn't been able to get onto the pitch so it's not exactly a surprise.
Got an extra grounds day Saturday as not everything got done last weekend, then first session with Jake (our returning overseas) of the season on Sunday.

Both our pre-season games this weekend are off unsurprisingly and I am unavailable the weekend after. So another season of no pre-season games for me before the league starts on the 28th!

BCL have confirmed the first round of games (scheduled for the 21st) are to be rearranged so we will now be starting on the 28th.

We have the option to rearrange for whenever the clubs can agree otherwise it’s a rained off game so good that not forced but I do wonder if some clubs who might not have got the 5 game points equivalent might take the rained off game

Same our league was due to start tomorrow but they were re-arranged into Sep so due to be next weekend but our groundsman has already said that 90% chance that will be off by Monday.
Due to have a friendly on Sunday against a side who are EAPL so they have full time groundsman against there 2nd team which hasn’t been cancelled yet.
Our home ground just doesn’t drain unfortunately
