So low density, clean clefts give the best performance?
Every blade performs. How much a player wishes to pay is simply a matter of personal choice.
You could argue that appearance is, too.
The more I come on this site, the more convinced I am that we/ you are all being conned.
You definitely pay a premium for pretty/big bats, whether they actually perform any better is open for debate.
When I visited GM a few years ago, they used to tap up the bats after pressing but before final shaping, sanding, finishing. This would give an indication of performance. Then they would assess them again later to check cosmetics. Seemed like a good process at the time. But unsure if they still do it this way or whether they have changed any process?
Maybe time for you start your own brand with a base concentration on bats only?
Saturated market. Besides, I don't have the tools or skills required to make bats.
I'm unaware of any brand (labeled or not) that supplies bats made exactly to the sellers specifications. Then and only then can a seller sell with true confidence in their product. That is the USP.
Really? The name of this site is Custom Bats Forum?Plenty claim to have true confidence in their product.
You could start off by offering youth bats just to find your feet.
