His partner is from Teesside, asked him if he wanted to sign on for us for when he’s in the area. Told him he might have to be first change though 😉

Actually yes...

They had one made for stokes that was storm damaged..

Basically not for sale!

The whole expression is actually quite inaccurate. Debris on the disk tended to cause skipping or repeating, rather than an actual break...

I am very happy with Discogs grading system. With records, how the vinyl looks and plays is usually closely related.

More commonly, a scratch causes a record to 'get stuck' or repeat. This is where the expression 'broken record' comes from, I think

We grade bats on our assessment of their performance, in conjunction with the look and feel of that particular cleft.

As has been explained on numerous occasions, GM grade on looks aligned to the Wrights approach with upgrading and downgrading also done on weight.

This is pretty straightforward and transparent.

Which is also why you can get low grade bargains. Heart wood bats, for example get downgraded to below 808.

@Buzz heartwood seems to be punished slightly less this year, saw a few originals and le with a tiny bit of heartwood although there will be some stunning signature and 808 bats knocking around!!
