Ahhhhh, i see Tom converted you to the snells then - i think he has shares in the company the way he was plugging them :D
Haha I have been converted but by Bill not Tom, I should think Tom likes them as they are what Fusion uses.

So slightly off topic, but guess it's kind of tool related...

When sanding, any recomendations on a dust mask? I'm finding that the one's I use I end up steaming my glasses breathing through my nose, and if i don't use one I end up with a nose full of willow dust! Not that I'm complaining, becuase I love the smell but can't be healthy!

I use these and they seem alright for sanding (could always wear goggles over the glasses if misting badly?)

But i would like to use this and would reccomend if problems persist

yeah, similar to what I have, but hadn't thought of goggles, that may well do the trick, cheers pal.

Ha ha, DV would be awesome, would love to see the look on the wife's face when she brings me a mug of coffe out to the shed to find me in that! genius!

Actually - i wonder if ayrtek could modify one of his helmets to look more darth vaderish - nothing would make me happier than seeing a batsmen stride out in a BSI tested darth vader cricket helmet.......surely this is the future :D

Very optimistic, didn't realise it would be as hard as this ;)
I mean I'm not bad at it, but wouldn't want to properly sell any until they are perfect.
Will upload some pics of the bat soon, its looking a lot better now.

Leo are you planning to use a machine sander or just hand sand entirely?
I like the look of those Snell and Atherton's as they look really fun to use... But at the moment i'm trying to seek a second hand travisher.

Im getting kinda worried, after I do a bat I always have trouble breathing. Could the willow dust be entering my lungs and embedding in the aleveolar walls, causing a thickening of the walls causing a slower diffusion of oxygen?

GJ am hand sanding, getting a nice finish with this steel wool im finding
