Kookaburra 2019
« on: October 10, 2018, 06:19:44 PM »

Hi all,

I just had sent to me a link to a VIP early look at the Kookaburra 2019 catalogue after I signed up to their website.

I have tried putting the link into here but doesn't seem to work. But it is very easy to sign up.

Very impressed with their new stuff.

Range looks quite decent, pics make all the shapes look quite generic but overall quite decent

All look great, always been a Kook fan since having a Gold Crown as a 16yo budding opener. 'Which will allows' though?!

How do I choose between the big kahuna and a ghost obscene????

Not sure I can, have to get one of each.

Any sponsor that can guarantee me the bats in 2.15 gets my business. I’ll also won’t some black pro gloves with it.

Kook luggage range looks the best out of the big brands this year, more understated and classy.

Would love to see the Pro Players duffle up close

Well done, it wasn't letting me link the dropbox for some reason.

I also think the Rampage looks great but also the colours on the Nickel work well.

Although I will never understand why Kookaburra don't have z butterfly style buckle/strap on the top pads like all the other brands. It makes pads fit and much more comfortable.

Really enjoying the simplified grading structure, with a 2.0 mapping to a Grade 2 etc. Makes it so easy to understand what you're getting.

Liner on the Kahuna Pro pads looks interesting, too

Also, they've added 'Alternative Willow' to the Junior ranges which doesn't appear to be Kashmir. Canadian? Serbian?

Are they still doing round faces and oval handles across the range as they did last year?

My wife’s comment,” the players are hardly inspiring young girls to join a team. Where’s the joy ?!”

Liner/inner is the same as last years, but in a distressed look this season. Also similar inner for the rest of the kahuna range.

@Six Sixes Cricket are you allowed to tell us the price of the Big Kahuna and Ghost Obscene?
